Make sure to fully charge the camera at its first use.

Charging methods:

• Use the USB cable to connect to the Computer (recommended)

Note: The Red light flashes during charging. When the camera is fully charged, the red light is solid red.

• When connected to a 5V charger or Outlet the camera will automatically go into "Continuous recording video Mode" (Not recommended for charging)

 Connect to a computer for charging and the data transmission. (recommended). To view or transfer the video recordings to your computer just connect the USB cable to your laptop and it will show as a normal SD memory card. (No need to remove SD from camera).

Note: If you need to remove the camera from the case, please push the camera using the thumb round circle opening from the back, do not pull the camera from the front to avoid any accidents.

Press the Power button to turn on the Camera. After powering on, a solid blue light will appear. Press the power button 1 time and the blue light will flash 3 times and go away, the camera is now recording

• To stop recording press the power button. The blue light should reappear indicating that is no longer recording.
• There is no light while recording to save battery life

 Press the Power Button to turn on the Camera. After powering on you will see the blue light. (720P mode). Press M(Mode) Button the light should now be a Purple Color (1080P mode). Press the power button 1 time and the Purple light will flash 3 times and go away, the camera is now recording.

• To stop recording press the power button The blue light should reappear. (No longer recording).
• There is no light while recording to save battery life

Press the Power button. Press the M(Mode) Button two times. You should see a red solid light indicating that is in "Picture mode". Press the Power button once to take pictures.  

Turn on: during any mode of standby, press the ON/OFF power button for 2 seconds, the red light flashes, IR light is on and you can start the night recording.

Turn off: turn off the IR light, in every mode of standby, press the ON/OFF for 2 seconds, and the left and right light flash for 3 times, then the IR light mode will be turn off.

In the standby mode (blue light or purple) press the mode button for 3 seconds, the blue light and the red light will flash at the same time meaning that motion detection mode has been enabled. The recording files will be saved every 5 mins until there is no motion or no battery or the card is full. (press any button can exit the motion detection recording mode)

If the camera stops responding even after charging it, you can reset it by pressing the reset button (9) near the charging port with a paper clip or something similar that can fit in a pinhole then try the camera again.  

Press the Power button for 6 seconds to turn off the camera manually. 

The camera will automatically power off if left idle in standby mode for 1 minute.

The camera will automatically boot in the TF card root directory to create a text file, power off the camera and use the USB cable to connect the computer. After opening TIMEREST.txt located in the removable disk, you can setup the time/date, for example: format (year, month, day, minute, second) 202201004164500 Y and save the text document. You can also remove the time stamp from the recordings by adding N at the end of the date. 202201004164500 N 

The camera records in AVI format, if your system does not have an AVI player you can download a free copy of VLC player  or user Windows Media Player which comes with Windows systems.
